MEET THE FOUNDER!

My name is LaPorshia Turner, a third-year Tax Professional and second-year ERO, and the founder of The Tax Hub.

When I first entered the tax industry, I started under a team with mentorship that helped me navigate by obtaining my PTIN, understanding documentation, and learning the basics of tax preparation.

However, becoming an ERO showed me a completely different level of responsibility. I quickly realized that knowing how to prepare returns was only a small part of the business. What truly matters is due diligence, compliance, and having the right systems in place.

The Tax Hub is designed for first-year EROs who are transitioning from simply having a PTIN to actually running a compliant, structured, and profitable tax business. It provides guidance on back-office setup, system implementation, CRM selection, and strategies to increase revenue while maintaining compliance.
